Cosmetica Bohemica s.r.o. - BOEMI

We are a Czech company connecting to a traditional hand production of glycerine soaps and natural gift cosmetics with trade mark of Lavea. Our company was established in 1999 when our first products were present – glycerine soaps with herbs and fruits, all with trade mark Lavea. Our effort is to offer our customers a high quality products appropriate even for sensitive skin based on careful choosing and hand manufacture of highest quality materials. We are inspired by nature in all it´s appearances, fragrances, colours and it´s unique effects on body care. Our products have never been tested on animals. In the process we've developed glycerine crystal soaps, currently we offer a wide spectrum of bath and keep-well cosmetics in a number of compact collections. For it´s special and original design our products are sought after as a gifts so the customers are mainly among gift shops, ceramics shops, galleries and of course natural products and herbal shop, wellness and massage saloons.

Why Boemi instead of Lavea?

The trade mark change of our cosmetics is the most important decision that we´ve made in last ten yeas. There are two main reasons for this change:

We want to emphasize to our Czech and foreign customers the Czech origin of our products, original and unmistakeable – that´s why BOEMI.
Second important reason is long dispute with German company Laverana about trade-mark Lavea. In regard of the uncertainty this situation helped us with our decision.

Finally you can find our cosmetics with new trade mark – BOEMI. The decision wasn´t easy for us after 10 years of building up Lavea trade mark but we believe that it was a right decision and will help us with new incitement to our work and will bring to our customers pleasure of our new products.
